Apocalypse Now
Started watching Apocalypse Now for the first time last night. It went a lot like oh my god what the fuck did you see that wait what what the fuck how could they what the did they what wait wait wait did you see oh my god, wait what.
I made cashew cream today for a vegan fettuccine alfredo sauce. It’s so easy, my god. I’m going to use this in everything.
when the street signs attack
So right around 28th and Ash there was a road closed sign for the run/walk today and a long line of cars trying to figure out what to do. While I was watching, at least, almost all of them turned left into a dead-end. At one point there were four cars crooked in the middle of the dead-end street trying to turn around to get back on the road to go the other way. I shouldn’t have laughed, but there was a sign.
ROAD CLOSED?! BUT THIS IS THE ONLY WAY ANYWHERE I NEED TO GO! WHAT DO?
In other news, I haven’t driven my car in so long that the battery died and I’m finding it’s really inconvenient to not have another mode of transportation besides my bike. Because the only time you actually need to use a car is when yours isn’t working or you don’t have one. Science.
